With the beautiful 6200 WG Meisterbund I, which is limited to 55 copies, we are seamlessly following the great success of the rosé-gold 6200 Meisterbund I - an extraordinary watch in many respects, which set several milestones. With these two masterpieces, we are celebrating our 55-year company anniversary 2016.

This is a passage from the final speech of Hans Sachs in the opera "Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg". Also behind the 6200 WG Meisterbund I are three "masters of their profession". The "Meisterbund" edition is the result of a collaboration between the Uhren-Werke-Dresden (UWD), the Sächsische Uhrentechnologie GmbH Glashütte (SUG) and our company.
The SUG is responsible for the construction and manufacture of the 18 kt white gold case, which proudly carries the engraving "MEISTERBUND" on the flank - a distinguishing feature of our series of championships.
Our company impresses the "face" of the 6200 WG Meisterbund I. With a guilloched and anthracite galvanized dial it is oriented to our classic masterpieces, without losing sight of everyday life. The 6200 WG Meisterbund I is also pressure-resistant up to 10 bar and is also pressure-proof. The UWD 33.1, a high-quality manual hand-up calibrator, has been developed by UWD, which has already been successfully used in the rose gold edition and thus for the first time in series in a watch.
Above all, the fact that design and production are carried out in Germany, as well as all essential watch parts from local production, makes the edition "Meisterbund" something special. We are proud of the fact that the seal of quality "Made in Germany" enjoys an extraordinarily high appreciation in the eyes of many watch designers. This strengthens us in the conviction that our decision is correct to deliberately put on the innovative power of German craftsmanship and engineering, and to make this competence in the form of the edition "Meisterbund" become reality.
Manufactory hand hoist caliber UWD 33.1
The heartpiece is the finely crafted, handmade UWD 33.1 made of nickel silver, developed and manufactured in the spirit of traditional quality consciousness with a contemporary technical interpretation. With the one-sidedly mounted flying feather house, it is a parade example for precision as well as functional strength and at the same time expression of the highest watchmaking skills.
The regulation of the gear is made by rotating the eccentric weights in the balance system. This also compensates for the imbalance in the entire oscillating system of the watch. The return system, in turn, provides convenient fine-tuning and waste management. It should also be emphasized that all parts of the factory are finely refined. Blanks and clamps are characterized by matt, diamond-shaved edges. The combination of frosted and polished surfaces gives the plant a particularly noble look, while diamondings emphasize the high quality. The impression of a consistently thought-out clock completes the fact that the manufactory of nickel silver with its diameter of 33 mm fits very harmoniously into the white-gold housing with its diameter of 40 mm.
As far as shaping and function is concerned, the 6200 WG Meisterbund I makes its name for its name. This makes it a worthy successor, who is able to continue our line of masterpiece watches in the sense of traditional watchmaking craftsmanship.
